Pender Classic Best Disc Doubles

Pre-register at Disc Park (108 max)

When/Where:
Player meeting at 2pm at PIGCC. Partners and starting holes will be announced with shotgun start immediately following.
** Warm-up available to registered players from 12:30 pm until meeting.

Cost:
$25 = $15 green fees + $10 entry ($8 into game pot+ $2 to mandatory Ace Pot)
Top 10 teams will earn the cash payout.If no Ace, a CTP paying to top 3 will be played after completed rounds.

Food and beverages will be for sale through the onsite restaurant (open for lunch and dinner) as will as alcoholic beverages through the Pro-Shop and/or mobile golf cart during play.

6PM: Awards to happen onsite inside restaurant and/or on deck.

NOTE: NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON THE COURSE OR IN THE PARKING LOT.

Pender Classic 2025

 The 2025 Pender Classic (always scheduled for the weekend AFTER the Victoria Day weekend) is scheduled for Thursday, May 22 – Sunday May 25. Mark your calendars, book your accommodations, make ferry reservations if possible … we look forward to seeing you all again.

This is a CASH event, registration is in-person ONLY at the Disc Park (37162 Galleon Way)… but there is no cap on the number of players so make your travel plans now.

Tournament Format

Two (2) rounds of 27 holes played over two consecutive days (example: competitors may play their first round as early as Thursday and then finish on Friday.)

Registration

Thurs: 10am – 5pm

Fri: 9am – 1:30pm

Sat: 8am – 12noon

Tee-off Times

Thurs: 10am – 1:30pm

Fri: 8am – 12noon

Sat: 8am – 12noon

Sun: 8am – 9:30am (firm! No tournament round can start after 9:30am!)

Regrettably, due to Covid 19, the 2021 Pender Classic, tentatively scheduled for May 27-30 will be cancelled again this year.

Attention all Pender Classic Disc Golf Tournament Participants

Although it pains us greatly, we don’t think will surprise anyone in this time of social distancing and trying to flatten the curve (as well as protect our island community), that we are OFFICIALLY announcing that the PENDER ISLAND CLASSIC IS CANCELLED FOR 2020. We appreciate that our ‘official announcement’ was to have been on April 21st but even if health warnings are relaxed, they would never relax enough in time to the point of accommodating the numbers who gather for our tournament. To our fellow disc golfers, stary safe, cherish the company of those closest to you, and #stayhome. We’ll see you next year!
